Korg USA’s staff donated five dollars to wear casual clothes on June 2 to raise awareness for Long Island Cares; the Harry Chapin food bank located in Hauppauge, N.Y. All proceeds went directly to help feed hungry families on Long Island.

“We welcome opportunities to support our local community and Long Island Cares is doing great work fighting hunger across Long Island,” said Diana Cecchini, Korg USA chief financial officer and treasurer of the Long Island Cares board of directors. “Wearing shorts to work was a fun way to involve everyone at the company to make a difference in the lives of Long Islanders.”

Long Island Cares raised more than $17,000 across Long Island for the Casual Wear campaign, with the number expected to grow.
