The Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA) and The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) have renewed their alliance for The 2019 NAMM Show, set to take place January 24-27.
The news comes after a successful inaugural presentation of the relationship at The NAMM Show in January, where the organizations welcomed professionals from the music product, pro-audio, and live-event-technology industries, according to NAMM. At the show, ESTA provided expert guidance and curation of 94 hours of professional-development sessions for live-event-tech attendees, and its booth on the floor served as a gathering spot for members attending the show, many for the first time.
“ESTA and NAMM have a shared belief in serving our members, and we found common ground in our commitment to provide career-enhancing professional-development opportunities, best-in-class education, networking and meaningful business connections,” affirmed Joe Lamond, NAMM president and CEO. “Personally, it was a real honor to work with the ESTA leadership team and their members. We’re eager to improve and bring more value to further serve this great industry.”
Added Jules Lauve, president of ESTA: “The alliance with NAMM has more than lived up to our expectations. The NAMM Show has a vibrancy to it that was exciting to our members. Attendees enjoyed exploring the multitude of free professional development opportunities available to them as well as all the musical offerings available on stages throughout the campus. Our exhibiting members were extremely pleased with the leads they garnered at the show as they included many people they had never seen at other shows. Several reported that they had recouped their investment with orders received within just a couple of months after the show.”
