Yamaha Artist Services has promoted Greg Crane from Product Specialist to Manager of Artist Relations for Yamaha Acoustic Drums, and Jennifer Vierling from Artist Relations Assistant to Artist Relations Specialist for the Band and Orchestral Division. Crane and Vierling will continue reporting to John Wittmann, Director of Artist Relations. Crane began his career in the music industry when he joined Guitar Center Inc. in 1992. Eleven years later, as Regional Division Manager for Drums in Southern California, Crane left the company to assume the position of Acoustic Drums Product Specialist at Yamaha. Prior to joining Yamaha in 2009, Vierling served as Stage Manager for the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra for nearly four years. She also worked with Music for All, an organization that supports music education and active music making, in an event planning and participant relations capacity.
