A longtime highlight of Summer NAMM, the Top 100 Dealer Awards honor the best retailers in the MI industry. This July, the event will return to Nashville, Tenn., with the goal of reuniting and celebrating the retail community. The Top 100 Dealer Awards will take place at Summer NAMM, slated to return to the Music City Center from July 15-17.
Each year, an independent panel of judges chooses the Top 100 Dealers, as well as winners in seven “Best Of” categories. Those include: Innovation Award, Best Customer Service, Best Store Design, Best Marketing and Sales Promotion, Best Online Engagement, Music Makes a Difference and Best Community Retail Store.
From these categories, the judges also determine a “Dealer of the Year.” All winners receive recognition during the ceremony at Summer NAMM. Last year’s winners included Five Star Guitars, The Candyman Strings & Things, Amro Music Co., Santa Monica Music Center and more. Only NAMM members are eligible for recognition at the Top 100 Dealer Awards.
Speaking about the Top 100 honorees, NAMM president and CEO, Joe Lamond, emphasized their commitment to MI products and the industry overall.
“As unique as the customers and locations they serve, the Top 100 honorees all have a bit in common: a commitment to excellence in music product retailing, customer service and in acting as music champions within their communities,” Lamond said. “We applaud their efforts, and those of all NAMM retail members that are creating positive and memorable shopping experiences which, in turn, help to foster the next generation of music makers.”
