The Music People, parent company of On-Stage and TMP-Pro, has once again been included on the Hartford Courant’s annual “Top Workplaces” list. This is the fourth time The Music People has been named to the list, previously receiving the recognition in 2011, 2013 and 2018.
In addition to being named a “Top Workplace,” The Music People received recognition for “Excellence in Benefit Packages,” as voted on by employees.
This year, employers from the Hartford, Conn., area were invited to take part in the awards, which recognize and rank the top 48 workplaces in Greater Hartford. The awards are chosen based on employee responses to a detailed and confidential questionnaire administered by the Hartford Courant.
“We are honored to receive this recognition during a year unlike any other in the company’s history,” said Sharon Hennessey, co-president of The Music People. “[Founder] Jim, [co-president] John and I are proud of the way our team rose to the occasion and successfully navigated a challenging set of circumstances. Reflecting upon the last several months of uncertainty, we are grateful to be able to work with every person on our team, who each helps make TMP a ‘Top Workplace’ again and again. We look forward to working together toward a strong finish for 2020.”
