U.S. Rep. Mondaire Jones (D.-N.Y.) on April 5 visited Mike Risko Music. He inquired about how a payroll protection program loan assisted Ossining, N.Y.-based Mike Risko Music during the pandemic.
“We talked about how we used it to keep our staff working and to hire additional staff so we could launch our ecommerce site,” Miriam Risko told the Music & Sound Retailer. “It was great to see this kind of support for small businesses! He also told us if we ever come to Washington, D.C. for [the NAMM Advocacy] Fly-In, he would meet with us. It was a really great visit!”
Jones, 33, a Harvard Law School graduate, represents New York’s 17th Congressional district, assuming office on Jan. 3.
