Interstate Music is looking to reintroduce its brand by partnering with solo artists, bands, singers and musicians from all genres who enter the Watch, Launch & Win music competition. To enter the contest, musicians must be over the age of 18, agree to the contest rules and submit a 12-minute set video on the contest webpage no later than November 7 at 11:59 p.m.
Interstate Music and event sponsors will announce the top three winners based on the most online votes received during the contest period, from November 15-19. First-, second- and third-place winners will earn prizes and music swag totaling more than $10,000 while gaining exposure and recognition with industry leaders. They will be announced via email on or around November 20.
“This is our opportunity to not only introduce Interstate Music to the world, but also help artists during a time when their audiences just can’t explore new or live music the way they had before,” said Jeff Peterson, CEO at Interstate Music. “We hope to identify and help expose performers from all across the U.S. looking to bring people together through their music while we continue to be apart.”
Sponsors for the first-time contest include Fender, Shure, Zildjian, D’Angelico, Ludwig, Pearl, KORG, Vox, Focusrite, On-Stage, Nord, Pigtronix, Blackstar, Blue, Gibraltar, König & Meyer, and Line 6.
“With so many live gigs being canceled, artists have had to become creative in reaching people,” Peterson concluded. “We can’t wait to watch these performances and listen to all the new and beautiful music being made.”
