Hybar Musical Equipment’s Stem Pick is a new adaptation on the stringed-instrument plectrum. The patented design is used much like a traditional guitar pick, but the “stem” provides players a tool for expanded uses: extra leverage and grip surface, preventing rotation, delayed muscle fatigue and experimental picking techniques, stated the company. The Stem pick was designed as an adaptive technology that allows for greater grip to prevent pick rotation during play. It is available in three gauges.
