Thunderball Marketing (Avenel NJ) has been a distributor of consumer electronics, mobile audio, pro audio and musical instruments for the past 40 years, as well as a proud distributor of many equipment lines over those years. Prior to opening a distributorship, the partners of Thunderball Marketing were involved for many years in the New York retail business, with stores in a prime marketplace in the New York area. The partners of Thunderball Marketing are Ely Levy, Joe Levy, Nissim Levy and Morris Nahmoud, all members of the same family that has been involved in the organization since the very beginning. Over those years, the Levy family has amassed a large database of customers from the marketplace and has gained a firm understanding of who/what/where in the New York metropolitan area.

Thunderball Marketing’s Owners met the disaster of Hurricane Sandy head on in 2012. The storm left Thunderball with an aftermath of 40 inches of water throughout its warehouse buildings and a loss of $7 million in damaged inventory. Sandy’s waters were catastrophic for Thunderball’s Owners, the damages were severe and little help was forthcoming from federal, state or local officials. Thunderball faced this head on. Instead of filing for bankruptcy and closing down, the Levy family was determined to rebuild, spending weeks and weeks seeking out assistance from vendors and their customers. Rebuilding the business became a priority and, with the help of several large vendors, Thunderball was up and running within the first two weeks and shipping goods as before.

Thunderball distributes, and thanks, lines like Alesis, Pioneer, E-V, Peavey, Gemini, PA Audio, Yamaha, Eminence, RCF, B&C, Selenium, Ultimate Support, JBL, Denon, Crest and Celestion, as well as 60 other manufacturers that helped the company during Hurricane Sandy’s aftermath. Without the help of these manufacturers, Thunderball would never have survived the storm.

Thunderball Marketing is intent on weathering all storms and offering its dealers a one-stop shopping experience for all their electronic needs.
