Roland has announced the availability of several products for keyboardists, drummers and recording musicians, all of which are now in stores. The JD-Xi is a compact, yet powerful, analog/digital crossover synth that features a monophonic analog synth section, two digital synth sections and built-in drum kits. Additional music-creation features include an onboard pattern sequencer, a gooseneck mic, plus vocoder and vocal effects. The CB-JDXi custom gig bag is also available.

The RT-30 series enables drummers to use their acoustic drums as triggers for a hybrid setup without additional percussion pads. Quick and easy to mount, the RT-30 triggers offer new sound possibilities when connected to Roland’s TM-2 Trigger Module, TD-series V-Drums sound modules and SPD-series pads. The series includes RT-30H acoustic drum trigger; RT-30HR dual acoustic drum trigger; RT-30K kick drum trigger. The accompanying RH-300V V-Drums headphones are also available.

Designed for small music ensembles, the HS-5 Session Mixer allows up to five musicians to play, rehearse, jam and record while monitoring with headphones. It includes built-in amp modeling and effects, and it gives every player hands-on control of their own personal mix.

The MX-1 Mix Performer brings together synths, drum machines, loops, DAW tracks, AIRA gear and more into a single performance-optimized mixing instrument. Able to mix up to 18 audio channels from a computer, and combining elements of a control surface, audio interface and step-based effector, the MX-1 is designed to be the nerve center of electronic music rigs.

New to Roland’s line of audio interfaces are the Mobile UA (UA-M10), an ultra-compact USB audio interface, and the Super UA (UA-S10), a high-performance USB 2.0 audio interface. Both incorporate proprietary S1LKi sound technology and feature up to four channels of DSD and PCM audio playback.
