The Percussion Marketing Council (PMC) Executive Committee has announced the appointment of Stacey Montgomery-Clark to its executive board. As Sabian’s Vice President of Marketing, Montgomery-Clark has been an active member of the music industry for more than 19 years, and has contributed to many internationally recognized marketing campaigns and events, as well as artist-relations development, during this period. The Executive Committee currently consists of Brad Smith (Hal Leonard); Dave Jewell (Yamaha Corp.); Karl Dustman (Dustman & Associates); and, now, Stacey Montgomery-Clark fills the Board vacancy.
PMC Co-Executive Director Karl Dustman commented, “We are most fortunate to have Stacey join the executive leadership team of the PMC. She has regularly attended the PMC meetings and consistently contributes her vast knowledge and experience to the organization.”
Montgomery-Clark is located in Sabian’s New Brunswick, Canada, manufacturing headquarters and actively participates in the many educational and promotional activities for the firm’s global strategy and product development.
Formed in 1995, the Percussion Marketing Council is the percussion industry’s trade organization. The PMC is a non-profit with a mission to actively promote to the general public the many benefits of drumming. Part of this mission is to provide professional marketing incentives, advertising campaigns, educational programs and activities that bring increased public awareness to drumming, thus increasing the number of people playing all types of drums. Members belonging to the organization represent every facet of the percussion industry, including manufacturing, distribution, publishing and educational festivals/events.
