Orange Amplification will be the headline sponsor of the second annual Orange presents Progressive Music Awards. The inaugural awards event last year was a huge success. Prog Magazine will be hosting the event at Kew Gardens on Tuesday, September 3. “Newsnight” presenter Gavin Esler, a big prog rock fan himself, will once again be the host for the evening’s proceedings. The awards will acknowledge an array of legendary progressive rock stars and applaud many of the new up-and-coming bands in this innovative, thought-provoking music genre. This year sees the addition of two new categories: Best Band and Breakthrough Artist.
