Korg USA Inc. promoted wellness in the workplace this summer through a strategic initiative aimed at improving the health of all employees. In addition to an eight-week-long Get Moving Challenge, which encouraged employees to do a minimum of 20 minutes of physical activity three days a week, the company hosted Lunch and Learns, Biometric Screenings, a Smoothie Social and invited employees to participate in the Marcum Challenge 3.5 Mile Run/Walk.
“The leaders at Korg USA Inc. were excited to implement a comprehensive wellness program that focuses on preventive health and lifestyle modifications,” shared Allen Wirtenson, Senior Human Resources Representative. “We want to encourage all employees to focus on key health behaviors, such as increasing physical activity, improving eating habits, and reducing stress to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. We were all inspired by our results and look forward to continuing this initiative.”
