KMCMusicorp has announced an investment in its Bloomfield CT headquarters and its largest distribution facility in Portland TN. Positions will be added in telesales, merchandising, credit, marketing and distribution. Concurrently, KMCMusicorp will close its facility in North Charleston SC, with telesales personnel being offered relocation to the Bloomfield headquarters. Dealer-customers will benefit from improved responsiveness from additional personnel at the Portland Distribution Center, and the creation of a second shift to maintain 24-hour order fulfillment in the face of increased demand.
Sales and customer service operations will transition from the Charleston facility to the Bloomfield office. The Effingham IL and Ontario CA offices will not be affected by the changes.
To ensure a seamless experience during the transition, dealers will receive a personalized communication containing the names and direct contact information of their new telesales, credit and customer service representatives.
