JHS has appointed Paul Smith to the newly created position of Operations Director.
The new role will encompass overall, board-level responsibility for the company’s sales and marketing departments, in addition to Smith’s present responsibilities for purchasing, logistics and JHS’ service department.
According to Managing Director Dennis Drumm, “Day-to-day management of our sales and marketing departments will remain with their existing skilled, and very effective, managers, Alan Smith and Simon Turnbull, with the purpose of the change being to create operational efficiencies by more closely integrating the relationship between the departments concerned, with a view to further enhancing our customers’ overall experience of dealing with JHS.”
Smith commented, “We operate within a customer-driven, dynamic environment, and JHS must be in a position to service the needs of all our customers to the highest possible standards. The new structure gives us the opportunity to achieve this in both the domestic and international marketplace.”
