This holiday season, Gruv Gear has donated over $23,000 worth of its GigBlade guitar bags to the El Dorado High School in Placentia, Calif., in support of its holiday fundraisers.

“‘Tis the season for giving,” Jay Baldemor, president and founder of Gruv Gear, said, “and it feels amazing to be able to give something back to help the music instructors that continue to nurture and foster creativity with students, my youngest son included, during their high school years.”

The donation comes during a year when COVID-19 restrictions have severely affected the ability of school music departments to deliver their usual program of events, field shows, marching bands, live performances and more.

“I have been a fan of Gruv Gear since their inception and I have enjoyed using Gruv Gear products on gigs, performance tours and even in my classroom,” Eric Samson, Director of Instrumental Music at El Dorado, shared. “Their recent donation of GigBlades to the El Dorado High School Music Program will allow us to raise necessary funds to help our program thrive during these uncertain times.
