Cardinal Percussion has announced an expansion of its global sales and marketing efforts with the addition of two long-term drum industry veterans, Andy Schlosser and Juan Berrios.

Schlosser and his new company, To 11 Sales & Marketing, will be handling sales outside the U.S. — with the exception of Latin America and the Caribbean — for the Cardinal Percussion brands. He has 31 years of U.S. and international sales experience with Kaman/KMC Music, Fender and Zildjian, and most recently served as regional VP of Sales for EMEA & Latin America for Zildjian, managing sales of Zildjian, Vic Firth and Balter Mallets.

As Managing Director of SPIN Music Sales & Consulting, Berrios will direct International Sales for Cardinal Percussion in Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean. Berrios started his career in MI retail, and he served different roles as product specialist, and U.S. and international sales manager at companies such as Zildjian, Kaman Music, and Meinl Cymbals & Percussion for the past 28 years.

The company will continue to handle U.S. sales and distribution of all its brands.

“With an enormous growth opportunity for Attack, Wuhan, Cardinal Percussion and future projects,” said Schlosser. “I’m looking forward to a long and close relationship with Cardinal and to significant market penetration for these great products.”

“It’s an honor to be associated with Attack Drumheads, Wuhan Cymbals and the entire Cardinal Percussion Team,” Berrios added. “There’s a lot of interest and growing demand in the Latin American and Caribbean market for these premium brands.”
