Mark Wood of Trans-Siberian Orchestra fame and a NAMM delegate at its annual Fly-In in May, will makes a rare appearance on Jan. 19 in Port Washington, N.Y., to take part in a special concert benefiting The Mark Wood Electrify Your Music Foundation. The charitable organization’s mission is to support America’s music programs in underserved public schools through a silent auction. The rare area appearance with Wood’s touring band, The Mark Wood Experience, will also feature vocalist Laura Kaye, his wife and partner.
