StaffAllen Haynes, Owner of The Music Stop in Murfeesboro TN, recently celebrated the opening of a brand new store with a Grand Opening celebration on March 1 that included hourly giveaways, music clinics throughout the day and a special drawing where Oakland Middle School of Murfreesboro won a $1,000 store gift card to be used on any merchandise for its school music program. When asked about the event, Haynes stated, “It was just crazy! We were assisting an average of a hundred people every hour, and really appreciated the support from so many families and educators. We had representatives on site from Audio-Technica and Marshall. Our giveaways included generous donations from KHS America and Anthem Musical Instruments. And, we had performances by The Middle Tennessee State University Steel Drum Band as well as the rock band from Central Magnet School. It was an awesome opening!”

The Music Stop also launched a brand new lesson program, as well, and is already at 90-percent capacity after the March 1 sign-up session. It includes not only instrumental and vocal lessons, but also instruction in recording engineering in the store’s new technical recording area. The Music Stop offers customers the complete experience, from instrument lessons, rentals, repairs and sales, to full expertise in combo and recording gear.
