The coil spring design forces the coils against the back of the fixed faceplate for optimum spring tension and eliminates the need to adjust the wires, giving you excellent bass tones and snare separation. The Dorado Cajon takes it back to the traditional fixed-faceplate construction. This process seals the drum completely and enables the bass tones to resonate naturally. Replacing a set of coil springs is quick and easy with the patent-pending “Quick Wedge” design.
