The D’Addario Foundation today will hold a special ceremony to award six Los Angeles-area nonprofits grant support for their impactful efforts to deliver transformative music education in underserved communities at 1 p.m. local time on Dec. 6 at Nick Rail Music in Agoura Hills, Calif.
Suzanne D’Addario Brouder, executive director of the foundation, will be presenting the checks alongside D’Addario Key Account Manager, Phil Carnivale, and Nick Rail to The Harmony Project, Neighborhood Music School Association, SAPPA (Scholarship Audition Performance Preparatory Academy), Fender Museum of the Arts Foundation, Pasadena Conservatory of Music, and Richardson Prep Hi. In total the Foundation will be awarding $15,000 to these organizations but has additionally given away over $78,000 to a diverse range of organizations in California dedicated to providing access to quality, immersive music education this year.
