Overview: American DJ’s Mega 24PRO
Specifics: American DJ’s Mega 24PRO is a compact 16-inch RGB color bar with 24 brilliant 1W LEDs (eight each, red, green and blue). Producing a 10° vertical by 40° beam angle that’s suitable for wall washing, the Mega 24PRO features DMX or manual control, RGB color mixing, 32 color macros, a color strobe effect and 0 to 100 percent electronic dimming. With six operational modes, the bar can create whatever ambience or color effects are needed. The color bar can be operated in six different modes: Manual Color Mode; Color Change Mode; Color Fade Mode; Auto (Program Run) Mode; Sound Active Mode; and DMX-512 Mode. When using DMX, there are six different channel modes from which to choose: three, six, seven, 10, 12 or 16 channel modes. A three-button LCD display on the rear panel allows users to scroll through the DMX menu. Several can be linked together via three-pin XLR cables for color washing larger spaces and venues. Its LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours of use, and it has a 40W power draw.
