Specifics: DR Handmade Strings’ Dragon-Skin strings are clear-coated with proprietary K3 coating. Players have said the guitar and bass strings have less unwanted overtones, more volume and greater articulation, and also offer volume, clarity and durability. The electric sets feature DR’s proprietary K3 coating applied to nickel-plated steel wrap wire, and are available in standard gauges: DSE-9 (9-42), DSE-10 (10-46) and DSE-11(11-50). Dragon-Skin bass sets feature DR’s proprietary K3 coating applied to premium-grade stainless steel wrap wire, and are available in standard gauges in four- and five-string configurations: DSB-40 (40-100), DSB-45 (45-105), DSB5-40 (40-120) and DSB5-45 (45-125).
