In 1965, Natal was started by one drummer, Alan Sharp, who was seeking to find the right gear for him to play. Unsatisfied with what was available, he literally built it himself and created a company in the process. Today, Natal is known for tailoring its drum kits’ sound and attack through the use of choice tone woods.
