Also a member of The Millionaires is Tony De La Rosa, Samick’s artist relations and marketing manager. He formerly played for many years as member of the rock band Renegade. “My experience puts me in the unique position of being able to ‘talk the talk’ with dealers and end users from a product owner and players standpoint,” said De La Rosa. “I can honestly tell someone that I really like a particular model guitar, that I own it and that I played it the night before or recorded with it in the studio, or whatever the case may be. This experience equally translates to the Artist Relations side, where I understand from experience what the artist’s needs are, how to talk to them, their urgent and erratic schedules and of course what guitar models to suggest that would serve them well in their particular situation.”
