Guitar Center opened three new locations in October, capping off a year of seven grand openings in total. The new locations — the fifth, sixth and seventh of 2018 — are located in Winston-Salem, N.C. (12,000-square-foot facility opened Oct. 11 at 3459 Burke Mill Road); Winston-Salem, N.C.); Monterey Park, California (a 15,000-square-foot facility opened on Oct. 18 at 3000 Marketplace Drive); and Erie, Pa. (a 9,500-square-foot facility opened on Oct25 at 5800 Peach St.). The stores offer an expansive set of services and gear to serve the music needs of their communities.

The new stores feature modern showrooms equipped with the latest products for musicians — from guitars, amplifiers, percussion instruments and keyboards to live sound, DJ, lighting and recording equipment. Musician services include Guitar Center Lessons, an in-house, state-of-the-art music academy for players of all ages and skill levels, GC Repairs, an on-site maintenance and repairs service, GC Rentals, providing easy rentals of instruments and other gear, and Guitar Center Workshops, offering free introductory classes and instruction on guitar, ukulele and recording.

Area shoppers are also able to enjoy Guitar Center’s multi-channel “endless aisle,” which gives customers the ability to combine in-store, online and phone options to purchase music equipment from anywhere.
